Instructions
Help in the fight against diabetes. Traverse the levels and defeat the various sugary items that appear in order to maintain a healthy body. Gather fruit, non-starch vegetables and lean meats to help you in this battle to save a patients life. But dont waste time! You are timed in the fight against sugar.
Move super eat boy around with the arrow keys (left right and up) to collect various foods and defeat the boss in order to achieve victory before time runs out. By holding the up button, super eat boy can temporarily glide slightly farther.
The 3 colored bars on the left correspond to the 3 food groups you must collect in order to survive. Red corresponds to lean meats, green corresponds to non-starch vegetables, and blue corresponds to fruit. As you collect more of one of the food groups, the bar will increase resulting in points. When the bar is filled, the player receives a water and the bar resets.
Water provides a shield to the player. The amount of waters is located under the sugar level bar at the top. The more waters you have, the less the sugar level bar moves when you get hit by an enemy. As you get hit, the water level slowly decreases so you must collect more foods to gain water back.
The sugar level bar, located at the top with skulls at each end, slowly decreases as you move around. When the player gets hit by an enemy, the bar moves forward. When the bar hits either one of the ends (either one of the skulls) the player dies and loses.
In dire situations, the player may use insulin (the bar located to the left of the water level and below the sugar level bar) at the cost of points to force the sugar level meter back to normal by pressing __.
To hit enemies, simply jump on top of them. If an enemies hits any part of your body other than the bottom, you will take damage (sugar level bar will move to the right).
